The controller responsible for processing your data is relatos.cam. You can contact us about any matter relating to your data through the contact form.

  • Registration data: display name, username, email address, password (stored encrypted) and, optionally, country.
  • Profile data: biography, website and social networks you choose to add.
  • Content you publish: stories, series, comments and ratings.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type and activity logs needed for the security of the service.
  • Payment data (Premium authors only): payout method (PayPal or bank account) and information needed to process payments. Buyer transactions are handled through the Stripe payment gateway; we never store your full card details.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Manage your account and allow you to publish and read content — performance of the contract.
  • Process purchases and payments to Premium authors — performance of the contract.
  • Send you transactional emails (email verification, password reset) — performance of the contract.
  • Send you the newsletter, if you have subscribed — consent, revocable at any time.
  • Prevent fraud and ensure site security — legitimate interest.

4. Third-party services

To provide the service we use providers that may process data on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — sending emails.
  • Google — optional sign-in with Google (OAuth).

Each provider applies its own privacy policy regarding the data it processes.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account remains active. If you request the deletion of your account, your data will be deleted or anonymised, except for data we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records).

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data at any time. To do so, contact us through the contact form. You can also request the deletion of your account from your profile panel.
